Great for new believers

This is a great book for new believers to use a devotional as they begin their walk with the Lord. I purchased it to give to a new believer and I will continue to do so.

No better book for new believers!

As a pastor, I'm always concerned about new believers getting started right with maturing in their relationship with Christ. I usually take the approach, regardless of upbringing or spiritual background, has no history in the church or understanding of how Christ is to them personally. This book is a simple yet comprehensive guide to get them started in developing a quiet time and personaly devotion that intentionally feeds them with the basics. The fact that it uses scripture (in context!) at the beginning and ends with prayer is a fundamental need in every book for new believers.

Great for new believers

There is nothing else on the shelves like this book by Bette Nordberg. It takes new believers on a step by step tour through the Bible, explaining all the advantages and responsibilities that now belong to them as a result of their new commitment to Christ. Biblically sound, this book will teachs exactly what it means to belong to the family of God. If you've recently come to know the Lord or know someone else in that position, this book is a must-have.

Exceptional encouragement

Very encouraging and thought provoking for New Believers, and not so new! Gives scriptural insight and encouragement to unchurhed believers and their responsibility for the coming exciting days. I was very impressed as there is nothing out there like this, and will be a very useful tool for many. I recommend this highly for all to read, but especially those new in the Faith.
