Everyday Life in Ancient Greece

Giovanni Caselli has made a career of writing and illustrating children's book on "everyday life" in prior centuries. This volume covers ancient Greece and follows the life of a family of well to do Athenian potters. It is well written and competently illustrated. There are many ways to teach children about ancient history and looking at everyday life is as good an approach as any. I enjoyed the book well enough to purchase other used books in the "Everyday Life Series."
