Important book

I loved this book so much I bought it for my niece and told many friends about it. Powerful. Important. Liked that it takes place in NC, and storyline is (unfortunately) realistic. I was hooked and still think about this book several weeks after finishing it. highly recommend. Would be a good book for a book club.

I hope my son Randy reads it. It begs the question of how to teach our children about the perils of racism.
