a wonderful intro to garter snakes

Wow, the photography make this purchase worthwhile. Whether it's the myriad piles of snakes in a cavern or a social garter snake visiting a woman cooking dinner, you are up close with the serpents in all their glory. This book is wonderfully informative, and my seven-year-old read this title with a lot of enthusiasm, despite its higher reading level. The author/photographer does these snakes justice, and I would recommend this title for any snake enthusiast.
