An epic love story

Hades and Persephone face multiple challenges as their wedding approaches. Demeter's destructive weather and Theseus' alliance with the Triad threaten their happiness. Hades must navigate complex alliances among the Gods of Olympus to protect their future. With uncertain loyalties among the gods, Hades' strategic acumen will be tested to its limits. Rating: 4/5 I thoroughly enjoyed the conclusion to the Hades side of the Hades and Persephone saga by Scarlett St. Clair. Overall, I give this novel a solid 4 out of 5. The plot was intricate, detailed, and well-woven, with exceptional storytelling. Tyler Donne’s audiobook narration was entertaining and well-paced; in my head, he has truly become the voice of Hades. Hades, Persephone, and many side characters like Aphrodite and Hermes have grown and changed throughout the series. Seeing them evolve, despite being millennia-old, has drawn me into this world and made it feel more real. This book exemplifies Scarlett St. Clair’s excellent writing, taking me on an emotional roller coaster and keeping me hooked throughout the story. While I can’t wait to see how the conclusion unfolds, I’m sad to be leaving this world for now.
