Compelling.

This is the first book of a five part series on The Clayton Family. James “ Digger” and Erin have past that will make appreciate the tie Ms. Hailstock put into writing this humble and humane story. To understand the characters story in the following series you must read A Father’s Fortune first. Enjoy.

Great book

Reading all of the Claytons series I have to said, I was very please. Ms. Hailstock did not disapoint me. I enjoyed it, hate there wasn't more.

Two People Getting What They Need

This was a very good book. The two main characters had painful pasts, and letting go of the pain was diffcult. But with the love they found the pain was mended. I enjoyed this story and highly recommend it.
