Edited mostly eliminating pictures

Originally published between 1942 and 1957, according to the introduction. Good for reading one-a-night bedtime stories and for those with limited storage space. Each book is reduced to 2-5 pages. Some are photo-reduced -- keeping text and illustrations but at a smaller size; most have many pictures eliminated while retaining the text.

Great Treasury Book

Great book for young children. I use it as part of home school. I ordered it on Wednesday, it was mailed on Thursday and I got it on Friday. How great is that? It was a new book I got it at a great price. I have ordered several more books from the same company.

Golden Book

I bought this for my neice because she is expecting in Aug.I was impressed by how good of condition the book is in.In the future I see no reasons in stopping me from buying from this person again.I was truely impressed.Thank you

What a great idea - these lil books were such a precious part of my growing up, love sharing them again with my son! There's a new author around who writes stories that are very similar to the lil goldens, and I recommend his book as well as this one: Bobtales by Bob Morgan

A Famiy Treasury of LITTLE GOLDEN BOOKS

I ordered A Family Treasury of LITTLE GOLDEN BOOKS for my two year old son. He really enjoys us reading the stories to him. I enjoy it since it has taken me back to my childhood. I remember reading these same stories when I was little but I had forgotten all about them. They used the original illustrations, which really gives the book a wonderful warmth. From a parental point of view, the book is great since you don't have all of the little books to put away. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone with a child that loves to read!
