So dark and fun!

Love these mysteries! So gothic in tone, witty, fun, and with morality throughout we’d expect of LMA. The intro is captivating, too, especially if you’ve read her journals or a hearty biography. So fun.

Not what I expected.

She is a wonderful author who brings daily life to focus very well. But her style of language made it difficult to get into the thrill of the mystery. I may try to read it again later. But it was so dry compared to other books she has written.
