Gripping

This is the story of Dr. George and Arline Montgomery and their experiences during World War II. Arline was a nurse and George was a doctor and paratrooper, fighting most notably in the Battle of the Bulge. Against all odds George survived the war. This story is a well researched account of their experiences based on interviews with the couple, and exerpts of letters George mailed to Arline during some of the most horrible fighting (they were stationed apart during the war). Many of the passages will keep you on the edge of your seat! Recommended.
