Deep human issues, needs and perspectives are examined. Much in these stories is allegorical, attempting to lead the reader into a good deal of self-examination and deep reflection. They are designed to be thought-provoking in addition to being, hopefully, entertaining. A continuing theme throughout the collection is the importance of human goodness.
