Was so excited----but had no phonetic translations

i had a book with a similar title back in the 1980ies. I thought this was it. But this book had NO phoenetic translations and WHY LEARN TO SEE WORDS WHEN YOU DO NOT HAVE NOA KUUNSEPTA OFA DE PERNONSIASHUN? feel me?
