This book is one of the best Regencies I've read in a long, long time. Benedict is a man who deliberates every action and holds his emotions close to his chest. This story of the woman who breaks him from his shell is heart-warming and wonderful. It's a healing story for Esme, too, who finally finds a man she can love and trust in Benedict. Savor this wonderful love story woven in a fine tapestry of writing. It's one I'll keep and read again and again.
