A Death in Tel Aviv

Karl-Heinz Stimmer, a SS man from the former Third Reich, is hiding in plain sight right in the heart of Tel Aviv in Israel. Shortly before the War ended in Europe, Stimmer's bosses created an organization known as "Die Wespe", "The Wasp", which provided ratlines to sanctuaries throughout the world where Nazi fugitives could hide and thrive far away from justice. Karl-Heinz Stimmer was one of Adolf Eichmann's "Jewish Experts" in all things Judaica and chooses Mandate Palestine for his sanctuary where he can bore within as a Wasp larva. Crossing into Palestine one day posing as a Holocaust survivor, Karl-Heinz Stimmer becomes "Menachem Silberberg", a Jewish refugee seeking freedom to help build a new country against all odds. Hiding in plain sight as a happily married man to a Jewish woman with a family of his own, and a successful businessman and philanthropist over the years, Karl-Heinz nurtures his Wasp organization and bides his time. This "Nazi is a Jewish Poseur" who plans for the day Israel can be destroyed from within by creating a "Fifth Column" among the Palestinians inside the country. One day, a Holocaust survivor recognizes Karl-Heinz Stimmer she saw from Auschwitz 45 years ago, and she reports him to the Shin Bet. Agent Ahavah Sharit is assigned to follow up on this report and uncovers the truth of who "Menachem Silberberg" really is, and what his purpose is against Israel and the Jewish People. Time is running out when the First Intifada erupts across Israel and the Occupied Territories. This is the moment The Wasp and Karl-Heinz Stimmer waited forty years to strike. For Agent Ahavah Sharit and Shin Bet, there is no time to lose.
