Needs a Sequel

I have read this book over and over since the time I was in 6th grade. As an adult now, I needed to buy this book for my collection. A Crack in The Sky is one of the best dystopian books out there for young readers and the end just begs to keep going. It pains me how it's been 12 years since the release and there is still not a sequel. Even though it is supposed to be a series. I must keep waiting and rereading this one in the meantime.
