Transformational. Life hacks to live a life of joy and purpose.

When I first read the Course I was suicidally depressed and on anti-depressants, which did nothing to eliminate my mental anguish. I was hanging by a thread. I have been a student of the Course for 28 years now and live a satisfying life full of miracles and healing. I never dreamed Jesus would explain how to work miracles and heal people, but he does in this book. And the Workbook (second book in the compilation) allowed me to erase all the negative thoughts I'd inherited and replace them with thoughts that transformed my life. I don't care who wrote these books. All I know is that they saved my life and gave me faith, hope and love. LOTS of love. It is couched in Christian phrasing and claims to be written by Jesus of Nazareth, but is shunned by all but a few Christian churches. But I don't care because I learned more in one year from reading this book than all the years I spent in church combined.

A Wonderful and Organized Guide

I've studied spiritualism and religion(s) since the 1980's. This book combines Christianity and spiritualism, it gently helps to guide the student away from the traditional, man made doctrines and teaches a more simplified, common sense method, an approach that is much more inclusive and much less mental conflict. Once the student learns the fundamentals of spiritualism and that the world and all that occupy it are mere illusion(s) and that each individual creates their own world because they depend primarily on their past traditions, their Ego's and physical brain, instead of their true God (Higher Power) given gifts. Many students are now developing more spiritual insight and learning that one's own instinct is in fact one's own partner connection to all consciousness. One's partner is commonly referred to as Soul (Essence) it simply creates the connection to you and every single thing in all of creation. We're learning collectively that we are not simply physical beings having spiritual experiences, just the opposite, we are spiritual beings having physical experiences. Once completely understand and feel the spiritual connection, we are able to virtually connect to anything, anytime and anywhere in the universe and or spiritual realms (dimensions). Final Word: This book is highly recommended for those that are truly ready to develop further spiritually, those that may or may not want to relinquish their traditional teachings and move more toward the true dynamics of our eternal spiritual connection to the Light, God (Higher Power, etc.). Very simple, common sense exercises to help maintain a healthy, spiritual life. A means to increase the "light" in the world, which in turn diminishes the darkness. We are all connected as one and therefore should never judge one another. I'll walk my path to the light and allow others to do the same (there are many lessons that each individual must learn at different times), we'll meet at the light.

Original edition of 'A Course in Miracles' by Bill Thetford

I have been studying 'A Course in Miracles' since 1977. The teachings became core beliefs in the way I view and live in the world. From the moment I began reading the 'Course' my life began to change in quantum leaps. After many years of study I had some questions that were not clearly answered but accepted on Faith. When the copyright trial began in the 1990's, originated by Ken Wapnick, most of the original scribed material from Helen and Bill became available on the Internet. Though Dr. Wapnick documented in ' Absence of Felicity' he clearly stated that he only corrected spelling errors and made sub-headings in the Text. Fortunately the copyright lawsuits made the vast amount of material scribed available to the public. This book is a product of the litigation that lasted for seven years. This text is the original editing of Bill Thetford and vastly different than the books that became available in the mid-seventies. The definitions of 'Levels of Mind' are perfectly clear. Our Identity with Soul is beautifully expressed. The Wapnick edition may lead one to the same conclusions as the Thetford edition of the 'Course', however some deeply important aspects of the teachings were altered that are clearly revealed in this lovely edition of 'A Course in Miracles'. This edition draws a different picture of the world, the universe, our Soul and that God Created the Universe as in Heaven. Waking to the Truth of our Self we will experience Heaven on Earth.
