Contemporary not Classical

I used this book at UT in the 80s and dug it out again when my own child was old enough to begin studying rhetoric. We use a classical curriculum in our Home School. This book is solely contemporary rhetoric. It is not Aristotelian. However, having said that. It is a wonderful book at a terrific price. The glossary, appendices, sample passages, notes for polishing writing, index to grammatical terms and more make this one of the best high school and college supplementary reference texts on the market.
