I love this book

I never needed this book for a class, I bought a copy at a used book store. I liked it so much, I tracked down all four editions for my collections. It is a 'must read' for my children. Very well written, indeed a 'must read' if you want to understand the world.

A Superior Introduction to Philosophy

I read this book as it was the college text book for an Introduction to Philosophy course I took in 1977 at Texas Tech University. It is a superior book and I have referred back to it numerous times over the last 23 years since I first read it. I, like the reviewer above, have read the third edition. The book is extremely readable, which is not always the case with philosophy books, even those that are introductory in nature. The book is thorough and well-organized. I highly recommended it for anyone with an interest in the basic elements of Philosophy.
