Should be required reading!!!

It is so refreshing for a Christian author to shed the facades and pretense and get down into the real nitty-gritty of this thing we call life. Human beings who pretend they don't struggle (doubt, temptation, etc.)are both liars, and fools.(**My words, not the author's.**) Thor skillfully intertwines biblical truth, hilarious insight, and the reality of the difficulties of our existence. He's "real", and I can relate. I have a feeling more will feel the same...if they read it that is.

Worth the time!

This book is so worth the time! It is enjoyable and funny, but Thor hits home with what seems to be simple Biblical teaching and truths that we make hard to live by. I truly enjoyed it and appreciate its challenge to live its message.

Funny, Funny, Funny

The funniest and best book I have read in ages. It is hard to put down! It is a great book that keeps you laughing!

Excellent Book!

This book made me think and laugh out loud at the same time. Very well researched. Cutting edge research AND comedy. Very funny.

Great Book!

This one has MANY laugh out loud moments! A really funny book...Thor educates and entertains...I learned a bunch about the "Emerging Church" and the ways we evangelicals tend to embrace our postmodern American mindset when we should really be letting the Bible be our ultimate guide. All of this is presented with hilarious anecdotes, personal illustrations, and a heart for Jesus that's behind it all. It's really hard to get comedy to translate into book form (not to mention getting it all to relate to theology!) but this guy has pulled it off.
