I like this book because she seems very honest and sincere. Probably not as upbeat as I thought it would be, but still worth reading.

This would be a great book for a book report - well written and personal.

I read this book for English Class and did a presentation about it. It's a really good book for teenagers and maybe younger adult, but probably not for younger kids because she talks about some pretty graphic stuff. Probably not for older people because it isn't very upbeat and not the way they would want to see a survivor portrayed. Fairly honest insights that I could relate to.
This is an amazing book

Marjorie Lindholm takes you from this perfect little life where everything comes easy to a living hell. She was this golden girl cheerleader that had her whole life planned out until she got stuck in a classroom during the massacre at Columbine High School. Her story shows what happens to a person who never had to deal with hard knocks when they get sucker punched with something really horrible. She wants to be understood more than be liked because she is painfully honesty about stuff most people would hide. Great book if you are looking for real life, not some fairy tale with a happy ending and great moral.
A Must Read!!

I read this book in just 2 days. I couldn't put it down. Marjorie tells her deepest thoughts, and I could relate. I've been through a traumatic experience, and I couldn't deal with it for the longest time, but eventually I came to terms with life. Reading her book put alot of things in perspective and made me feel like I'm not alone in the world. I'd recommend it to anybody who has had to deal with violence first hand. You'll see yourself in the pages.
