I loved this book!

The author captures the essence of Torino in this delightful, hugely enjoyable book that will satisy anyone looking for a fascinating guide to the 2006 Olympic city from an insider's point of view. Filled with golden nuggets of information on the types of food and wines one can expect to find in this northwest area of Italy and where specifically to go for the typical Italian fare and feasts, this book also descibes beautifully the must see ancient castles and contemporary buildings that can be found in and around Torino. The author's vivid descriptions left me yearning to experience Torino for myself. I couldn't put this book down and completed reading it in four hours. I then found myself wishing for more.
