Stickers were a great surprise!

Since Halloween my son really started getting into Charlie Brown. So, I bought the "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving" book thinking that it was just a storybook version of the television special. I was pleasantly surprised, however, to find that the book included interactive stickers for each page. We did one page each day until Thanksgiving and found it to be so much fun that I have been hunting for sticker books ever since.

Good Holiday Book

Popcorn, pretzels, buttered toast and jellybeans. Good grief! What kind of Thanksgiving feast is that? It's one that Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and Linus throw together at the last minute after Peppermint Patty invites herself over for dinner. Poor Charlie Brown is so wishy-washy he can't turn his good friend down. A few minutes later, Peppermint Patty calls back to add Marcie and Franklin to the guest list! Thankfully the world's most brilliant beagle, Snoopy, comes to the rescue. With a little birdie help from Woodstock and some wise words from blanket-toting Linus, their impromptu feast gives the gang from Peanuts plenty to be thankful for. This book is adapted from the animated television special of the same name. Unfortunately the funniest scene from the show - when Snoopy and Woodstock tangle with a feisty lawn chair as they set the table in the backyard - must be relegated to one page in the book. However, this book is still a wonderful holiday read.

Graphic SF Reader

Charlie Brown has a bit of a problem with the old holiday days off thing, it seems. This team, he has an additional burden, that of being the food provider. Not sure I would want to be going to dinner if Charlie Brown was cooking, but I might take a chance on the Snoopster, though. More of the usual Peanuts sort of thing here with the rest of the gang.

Little book

This book is very small, but hardcover. My kids enjoyed the story anyway and got them to read it without a fight because it was so little. Still had 30 pages though, I believe. Anyway, cute little book - just get it when it's on sale for $1 like I did.

this pocket sized book

is like watching the show on a pocket size tv. we love you charlie brown!

As we prepare for Thanksgiving, I'd like to highlight the idea of Moments. Moments are those split seconds of time that happen and to which we often don't pay much attention. Moments are fleeting. They are very often overlooked. This Thanksgiving, as we gather with our loved ones, I would like to encourage us pause and take in the moments of the day.
