AWESOMELY, AWESOME!!!

This book is a heart to heart book from Dr. Robin. I can't put it down!!! I have bought extra copies to be given to my friends and they themselves can't put it down. Most of them read it in 2-3 hours!!! This book exposes the reality of life, especially one from Hollywood. I recommend it to everyone that is hungry for the TRUTH.

A Channel of Deceipt, now re-released as "From Hollywood to Heaven" made me laugh, cry and sit awestruck as I read this awesome personal account of triumph over the most impossible odds. Robin's words jumped off the page and into my heart with an indescribable love accompanying them. Robin's quest for love and truth in the midst of all kinds of abuse ranging from sexual, physical, verbal and drug abuse, touched a part of me that I had closed off for years. Then, her mind blowing account of the freak accident at a posh Hollywood eatery which left this former Solid Gold dancer crippled for life, and her miraculous recovery changed my life so much so, that I moved from Los Angeles to the small city she lives in, to be mentored by her. This book is now being placed in the hands of every female inmate in America and Australia as a source of hope for change when all odds are against you. This book was a tool that changed my life.

I couldn't put it down!

A friend passed this book on to me and I wasn't sure what to think of this actress/dancer's book. Then I started to read. I couldn't put it down! Mrs. Harfouche tells of her past envolvement in New Age practices and her conversion to Christianity at last. Her quick rise to fame, drug abuse and sudden fall from the spotlight led her to thoughts of suicide. In the end we're all reminded how God's love can change us all. The only thing I would change would be to have the book go farther into her life to tell what she and her husband have done since her conversion. This book is an excellent read!

Robin shares the power of God's love for His children

This book is a testimony to the power of God and how He can overcome evil as He chooses. A woman who has dappled in the New Age Movement even to the point of having her own spirit guide, was in for a tremendous surprise to discover that her spirit friend may be trying to kill her. This book speaks to how God can make a difference in our lives if we are willing to turn toward Him. The camouflage of evil can be seductive, yet ultimately it wants to destroy. Robin experienced this in a very personal and lifechanging way.

I loved this book!

"A Channel of Deceit" is a true story about a girl's journey into the New Age religion and her eventual conversion to Christianity. This is a great Christian read! I would have given it 5 stars but there was some parts I would have loved to read about..such as what she is doing now and how she's using her past to minister to others. (I have to be honest, I stayed up all night reading this!) It exposes the truth behind the New Age movement, "spiritual guides" and things of the like. Robin's a good story teller too, so it's not a bunch of boring facts about her life. If you're interested in spiritual things, psychics, New Age, or a story about a woman healed from an accident and drug use, pick this up!
