"We need help!!"

This book truly blessed my life. I think many times we forget how selfish we can be by nature. This book helps you to look introspectively into your life daily to seek God's glory and not your own. In addition, the daily devotion helped me to understand some of the things I had been wrestling with spiritually. It is very easy reading, with only 2-3 pages of insight and narratives to read along with daily journaling. I recommend this book for anyone looking to go to the next level in their spiritual life. Two thumbs way up!!!

Best Devotional I've read

This book is the best devotional I have used. It is direct and to the point. We make our lives too much about us. This book helps you focus on God, the One who deserves to be the focus of our lives. Through Biblical truth and personal stories, David Nassar takes you on a 40-day journey that will change your life (if you let it). This book has depth that a lot of devotionals lack. Each day is not conveniently contained on one page. It takes time (one hour suggested) each day to take in what David has to say, to answer his thought provoking, personal questions, to memorize scripture and to chart a plan to implement what you learn. This does not focus on making you feel good. This focuses on being honest with God, denying our desires, serving the Creator, and finding a life rich in the Godly rewards, not earthly ones. Buy it, read it, live it.

This is a great devotion for anyone who thinks they want a closer relationship to God. It helps you truely stay committed to one thing and it helps you daily memorize scriptures, pray, and truely learn to sacrifice something that is getting in the way of God. If you want to strength your relationship with God or just want to get rid of something unholy in your life, do this devotion, it will change your life!
