I have always had an interest in genealogy but as both my father and mother have passed away, it is now proving difficult to be totally accurate. However, as I prefer stories to facts you will have to take all that I tell you with a 'grain of salt' It may be, that the stories my father told me coloured and changed slightly over the years as many of our conversations took place after my mother passed away. I found my father was always lonely without her and that he was at his happiest recalling the days that he remembered when she was with him. Whatever the case, here are my recollections from the tales he told.
