Great book for a toddler. Simple story line they can relate to with endearing artwork and characters. I wish the author would create a few more in the series. A Bug, Bear and Boy Go to School was equally creative and fun.

These books can be great for emergent readers. The version I have has English and Spanish so Spanish speaking can learn to read in both languages.

My daughter is in kindergarten. She did well reading this book. There were some words that she didn't recognize, but was able to sound out. That is just the way I like it, not too easy.We follow the boy, bug, and bear as they eat, read, plant a garden and try to keep a rabbit out of it, play hide-n-seek and take a bath. The stories are divided into chapters which makes it much easier for them to practice just a small part of the book at a time. The illustrations are quite cute adding to the enjoyment of this odd trio.
Great for even the very young!

I purchased "And the Bath" book along with three other "A Bug, A Bear and A Boy" books at a school book sale. I thought that they would be good to read to my infant son. Well, to say the least he loves them. I don't even have to show him the book. I can just say "A Bug, A Bear and A Boy" and his eyes light up.They teach sequencing, opposites, problem solving, and the difference between humans, insects and animals. They're great! I want to buy some more!
