This is about a boy growing up in Alaska and his experiences. The story is an autobiography of Ive W. Duvall. He was born 1919, and is still happily writing stories about places and people he knew. He lived in Alaska from 1919 to 1941 when WWII broke out. He fished and hunted for a living. He knew a lot of the gold prospectors and their stories. He was friends with an old Indian that was a packer over the ChilKoot Pass from Skagway to the Interior during the gold rush of 1898. He grew up with the Indians and the Norwegians in Petersurg AK. He has lots of stories to tell.
