Even though I am 86 years young, I still remember distinctly my early childhood and consider myself, "A Boy from Alabama." The topographical layout of the mining area in Alabama with the creeks and rivers made conditions perfect for my passion to explore nature and all it afforded me. People were honest, hardworking, and willing to help others. I am proud of my childhood in Alabama and visit my area of upbringing whenever possible.
