A young woman, Kylie Berry, steals her ex-husband's car and drives from Chicago to Kentucky. She plans to work as a waitress at her cousin's restaurant. The cousin leaves the moment she arrives, but not before having Kylie sign a purchase agreement (which Kylie doesn't bother to read). In the agreement, the cousin sells her the cafe which is worth 2.5 million dollars. Kylie knows nothing about cooking, running a business, or pretty much anything. The staff start quitting right away. Kylie makes a disgusting egg sandwich for a customer. That was up to chapter 7 where I quit reading. Where was the mystery? The premise was unrealistic, too silly, and the main character was not likable. She was whiny and totally incompetent. I was very disappointed because the cover was fun and billed this as 'laugh-out-loud' funny. I enjoy humor in a book, but this was dumb. There were also a number of typographical errors. I didn't like the book and can't recommend.
