This is a book of both historical and literatual values

I have red the Chinese version of this book "Wang Shi Bing Bu Ru Yan (The Past Is Not As Foggy)", which I think is about the same as "Zui Hou De Gui Zu (The last royalty)". This is a book that one should read if they are interested in the recent history of China. More than that, it is not just about politics (although some reviews may make it look like that). It is more like a memoir written in a very beautiful language. I am around 30 years old and in general I am not interested in politics, but I like this book very much. The part I appreciate the most is the philosophy encrypted in this book and its sophisticated language, both originate from the ancient history of China, and both of which I almost forgot myself after being away from that culture for a long time.
