I work in a talent agency in LA and this book is making the rounds, of course. It's hot and fast, but I think it's better for TV than for movies. At my agency, we get a thick packet of xeroxes of the daily gossip columns every day and my bosses read them as if they are the gospel. It's fun to get a peek at what goes on behind the scenes of writing the columns. It makes me think NYC media is even dirtier than Hollywood talent machienes.

My favorite new book of 2006 . . . I couldn't put it down. If you liked The Devil Wears Prada or The Nanny Diaries you will LOVE this book. It offers real intrigue to the dark and sexy side of New York.
