Good stories to grow up on...

It is one thing to say that you don't like the stories in a book when you are an adult talking about classic novels, but some books just are'nt made to be rated in an adult pov. This book full of poems and stories is one such book :). I grew up having these short little stories and poems read to me at bedtime. They may be silly or pointless but they are sweet and good hearted little bits to fall to sleep by. What stayed with me the most are the bright cheerful pictures in the book of things like ladybugs and mice. The stories are very nicely written and full of imagination, more so than many of the bedtime story books that are made nowadays :)
