This book is hilarious~

I kind of like the idea for Clud to meet 30 guys in 30 days. She even counts talking to pizza guy as target of the day. I would certainly not count that in~ It has a twist in the plot. I enjoy every chapter and line of this book. Rock on!!

A fun read with a good message

Claudia is a college freshman. Having just dumped her boyfriend, she is ready to date and flirt. The only problem is she doesn't know any boys and turns into a nervous wreck around them. She devises a plan to flirt with one boy a day for thirty days. This way she is sure to find Mr. Right. This novel is great! It is a cute, fun read. I think it is completely relateable. It is tough to get back into the dating scene after having a boyfriend for several years. The purpose of "target practice" is about teaching yourself to talk to people despite awkwardness. Claudia definitely has some embarassing moments but lives through them. I found humour in the situations that arise. I also liked the Claudia's character growth. At the beginning, she has very little self esteem. By the end her self esteem is much higher and she has no problem talking to guys. Basically, this book is about the boys we love and the ones that drive us nuts. It also encourages the reader to go for what they want in life and to never stop believing in true love.

Hopefully, during that time, she will have found someone who tickles her fancy. Unfortunately, when Mr. Perfect doesn't come along, Claudia realizes that she truly has no game, and may be left alone. Forever. I have read every book in the SIMON & SCHUSTER ROMANTIC COMEDY series, but I quickly realized that 30 GUYS IN 30 DAYS was my favorite, when I found that I could relate to Claudia's character perfectly - except for the whole "target practice" thing. Claudia is a hilarious new addition to the teen fiction genre, and the laugh-out-loud funny e-mails she sends to her sister and dorm-mate throughout the book will cause all readers to giggle non-stop. With an array of quirky characters - who range from downright retro, to downright weird - Micol Ostow's 30 GUYS IN 30 DAYS will help everyone figure out how to get their flirt on. Dreaded read turned out to be a fun favorite

i will admit that i was dreading reading this book. i had saw the 3 star rating, and it greatly discouraged me. however my love for the simon pulse romantic comedies, couldn't let me. i finally picked it up and read it in just a few days. Claudia is trying to come out of her shell by playing "target practice." just trying to say hi to a guy a day. she has some mishaps, and meets some great guys in the process...a great fun easy read.
