Wow. I wish someone had bought this book for me BEFORE I went to law school, just so I'd made an informed decision!!! Full of awesome shoot-from-the-hip truths not only about law school, but about the practice as well. I read this in our law firm library and thought "This is exactly what I've been saying" several times; laughed aloud several other times; and then bought my own copy. Inspiring quotes and stories from tons of attorneys who went on to pursue completely different/alternative career paths. Inspiring to those who want out, who are still "in", and a cautionary warning/preparation to those who want a career in law. A MUST READ to be well-informed and prepared for law school and also, the career that follows.
too true

It is hilarious in a i-wish-i-could-not-relate kind of way. I am about to graduate so I know (and haven't had the chance yet to forget) how horrible law school is!! You will find these stereotypical professors/students do exist! It is actually fun to read and realize that there are a lot of normal people who went to law school and found it just as bad. I don't think anyone who hasn't experienced it themselves will truely understand and relate to this book! So I would recommend it more for people who have been through it and not for people considering it.
