Shocking account

This shocking account of hell makes me want to make sure no one ends up there.

Definitely deserving of a best seller

I literally could not put this book down. Besides the Bible, best book I've read so far!!

I believe it

Everyone , especially non believers , should read this book. Hell is very real. Hell is not some made up fiction supposed to scare you. Also, hell is eternal meaning you cannot escape it. My mind cannot fathom eternity. I cannot grasp something that never ends but hell is forever- never ending- the good news is that heaven is never ending as well. Choose heaven. How do you do that? Very simple. Believe that Jesus is God's son. Believe that Jesus died for your sins , for my sins , and that He overcame death and the grave. He came back to life after 3 days in a borrowed tomb. Jesus overcame death and if you believe He will overcome your sins and forgive you. It's that simple my friend.

Those Who Reject Jesus Christ Will Wish They Had Never Been Born

I believe the author's account of hell. All of it aligns with what the Bible says about hell, so why would anyone split hairs over anything the author shares? The benefit of this book is it provides detail to the Bible's description of hell, which by itself should be enough for any reasonable person to decide they must do whatever it takes to escape the eternal torment of hell. Fortunately, to escape hell all it takes is giving Jesus Christ a chance to prove to oneself that he is indeed real. He stands at the door of your heart and knocks. All you have to do is open the door. and let him in. Tragic how some people -- for reasons I cannot fathom -- refuse to let him in. According to the author, the "gnashing of teeth" that occurs in hell is due to the condemned individual's regret over having rejected the opportunity to give Jesus a chance while they were still alive. I'm so grateful that heaven awaits me instead of hell, and I love the Lord for giving me his precious gift of salvation and promise of a joyous life everlasting.

A Horrifying Destination

As a child I saw many movies about hell and decided it was not a place I ever wanted to be in for eternity. Bill Wiese claims he not only saw images of hell, but that he experienced it physically and emotionally for 23 minutes. Can you go to hell and live to tell about it? Do children go to hell? Will good people only go to heaven? Are there demons in hell? Is hell a real place with real fire? Will you remember your life on earth while in hell? Bill Wiese answers all these questions and also backs up his own experience with biblical references. His story is convincing and told from the perspective of someone who was placed in a position of extreme stress and vulnerability. He describes his 23 minutes in detail and in a very convincing manner. Dreams can be very vivid and so at the start you have to either believe this is true or decide it isn't something you are willing to believe. In the first third of the book he explains his horrifying experience of being in hell and then in the second section he talks about near death experiences and why there is hope for anyone who wants to avoid going to hell after they die. In the third section he focuses on verses from the Bible to give a more complete view of hell. The thoughts in this book are somewhat sobering and the idea of spending eternity in a state of emotional distress and physical pain is more than enough motivation to try to find a way not to duplicate Bill Wiese's experience. Fortunately he does provide a message of hope and explains how Jesus Christ is the answer and the Savior of the soul. An Experience I Won't Soon Forget...

I consider myself a fair reader of literature, but I have yet to read a book that has had the effect on me as this one has. I was half way through it before being aware of the time. I've read several testimonies of (and about) men and women that have departed this life and found themselves in that Great Abyss called HELL and returned to tell about it. The author's experience is different in that he places the reader along side himself experiencing it as well. Needless to say, I didn't sleep very well that night. Not for myself as I'm a Christian but for all the people I come in contact with everyday who I know... haven't made Jesus as their Lord. This book will wake up the Dead. I know because I've left it to where anybody could read it and for those that did, their reading experience was similar. A great witnessing tool. I gave it 5 stars just for that reason.
