Just pay $20 and get it.....

If you can't make back your $20 just from the tips alone in this book, then you need to find another business to go into. Even the time alone that it would save you doing the research yourself makes this book worth it. One of the cheapest business investments you can make.

Great for selling Photos

I have several different years of this book and have sold may photos through magazines in it.

Now in its 32nd annual 2009 edition

Any public lending library and any art library catering to photographers simply must have the annually-updated PHOTOGRAPHER'S MARKET, now in its 32nd annual 2009 edition. Here are well over a thousand listings for magazines, book publishers, stock agencies and more, outlining galleries, trade publications, contests, and advertising markets where photos may be sold. A key acquisition for any reference collection, the extensive updates and changes keep PHOTOGRAPHER'S MARKET essential.

Great book to start your photo selling business.

I have purchased Photographers Market for several years and they are about the best book around for giving you places to sell (the use of) your photos. Not only magazines but business periodicals and even galleries are listed. Also some brief info on how to go about contacting these places. Probably now one of the most important is how they want images sent. Some want only digital, others will take slides but no prints, others will want only medium or large format. A must have.

Life is better when you have a direction to go in

I got this book for my daughter who is a natural when it comes to photography. It is a hobby she just seems to have an "eye" for. It came to my address and I took a look at the book just to make sure it was what i thought it was and was 'right' for her. It got ME excited, and I havent taken pictures in years though my eyes and mind never stop thinking about what a great picture some of the things I see around me might make. I cannot claim whether or not this book is ALL inclusive, but it was very clear that it was pretty darn close enough. I think any one can have a great talent, but like a person dropped in the middle of a large lake....it is so much better when you have a direction to go in. Why swim in circles? Take the pictures you want but know at the same time what you might DO with them and where you might sell them. You'll be able to enjoy a hobby fully and at the same time possibly make or supplement a lifestyle or living. good luck to all the photographers out there mm
