2007 Field Guide to Estate Planning, Business Planning & Employee Benefits (Tax Facts) Tax Facts is a series I was introduced to a few years back by a colleague of mine in the Financial Planning industry. I started out with two different books from the series, I can't even remember which two they were. The next year, I decided to buy four copies. The year after I had five. This year, I decided to just buy the entire set and be done with it. This particular book is a fantastic piece because it is so comprehensive. If you are just starting out with Tax Facts, I highly recommend this item. It is an excellent sales tool and training resource, rolled up into one item. I love these particular reference pieces because they are easy to understand and it applies the knowledge in real-world settings, so it works as a personal financial planning resource, as a sales tool, and as a straight-forward, simple to understand reference piece. No financial professional should be without at least one Tax Facts book, and I highly recommend this one as a starter. Covers many bases in one book! 5 stars for sure!
A good reference book.

Pretty good for the simple reason that it delivers on its promise. It has summary descriptions of many topics like "Charitable Remainder Trusts" and then a visual aide, then footnotes and details. It also has various charts, comparisons of plans, and quotes. Helpful, if a summary is what you need, but not recommended if you need in-depth details, case studies, or if you want an entertaining read.
