encouragement to pray and see God's answers even more!

I picked up this book in our church library and loved the true stories of how God has answered the prayers of the family and friends of these two women. More than anything else, this book encouraged me to pray in exact terms for the needs I or my loved ones had and then to trust Him and watch to see how He would answer and meet the needs. I loved the book so much that I e-mailed one of the authors, Jeannie, and shared with her some of my own answers to prayer which in themselves were pretty amazing. I have to admit I also questioned the time element of one of the stories and after several e-mail exchanges between us with her thinking I must live in South Africa as many of her readers live there, we found that we lived less than a mile of each other and have since met and have prayed for some of each other's personal needs. This author doesn't just write about answered prayers, she models it in every e-mail when she writes out her prayer for me in the need I just shared with her or when she just takes time to visit and talk about the Lord and knowing Him through prayer. I highly recommend this book for a healthy dose of faith boosting!

Uplifting

This book gave the stories of answered prayers. When I got discouraged in my prayers, I picked up this book and read a few of the stories. It uplifted my spirit and gave me hope to continue to pray.

Build Your Faith

This book is a real faith-builder. Although we believe by faith that God answers prayer, it's great to have a resource like this that helps our faith by relating wonderful stories about God's loving hand in the lives of the faithful.The accounts are beautifully written to bring out the reality of God's design and to emphasize the spiritual impact that each story deserves. My family has used the book for our devotional times. It helps our children see that God takes notice when we fall to our knees in prayer.

The short stories in this book are encouraging, and heart warming. The author has the ability to condense very powerful true stories into just a few pages, making it easy to read and a great gift book. We laughed and we cried.
