So Simple, But I Lost 68 Pounds!

If you're serious about losing your blubber thighs once and for all, then this simple but fantastic book is for you. I think I've been under the false impression that only big super complex ideas could help me lose weight, and in the process I overlooked the simple things that REALLY DO WORK. It takes some time to start losing with this book, but once you do lose it it's off forever. I've kept the weight I lost with this book off for over 18 months now and that's the first time that's ever happened. Buy this book and give it a SERIOUS try, you'll be glad you did!

The Best for Losing Weight AND Keeping It Off for Good!

I can't tell you how much money and personal emotion I've wasted on the new high protein and low sugar diet books that everyone is buying now. These scam books all enabled me to drop about 10 pounds, but then I'd gain it all back and end up depressed and miserable. Thank God for 1001 Simple Ways to Lose Weight! It is slower going at the start, but after a few weeks you really do start to lose lots of weight. Clearly the person who wrote the negative earlier review never even bothered to read this book! I'm so glad I ignored him or her and ordered it. The book only has 50 recipes and the rest of it is loaded with super ideas that really work. I just started using the ideas a few at a time and the weight started to come off...I've tried for years to lose and now all of a sudden it's easy and it's really happening. I can't tell you how much this book helped me, and what's really great is I'm not only losing weight but I'm also improving my health. The new high-protein diets let you lose weight, but at the cost of clogged arteries and more risk for stroke and cancer and stuff.

Practical tips for those of us losing weight

I've got this book while in the process of losing 73 pounds. At times when I needed a lift or suggestion, this book reminded me of the little things that I could do to increase my exercise, eat better or motivate myself. At times the suggestions may seem simplistic, but sometimes we need that depending on what's going in our lives. I have to give this book credit for helping me with regularly exercising. (And yes, I did sleep with my gym socks on to get me going to the gym in the morning at 6am!) It gives you positive studies points of view and hints. If you're new at losing weight and need some suggestions from eating, exercising, to feeling better about yourself along the way, I'd recommend this book. It's not a weight loss program but an excellent companion book for those on some kind of a program. It's well organized by different problems facing an overweight person. I'm still looking through it a year later!
