Great supplement for Homeschoolers

This series of helpful workbooks will delight your eager, young learners. Each book in the series comes filled to the brim with colorful & fun educational written exercises.Homeschoolers will appreciate being able to work on their own as much of the material is designed to work well with the self directed learner.

Amazing

I love this book! I've used both this one and the 4th grade version with my 5th graders for the past couple years and I have seen their vocabulary grow with leaps and bounds! It uses words that they actually do see all the time in their reading or hear on TV instead of those hard, never heard words that are in most vocabulary books. They get excited when they can find the words all throughout real life. There are lots of activities for each word list and it focuses on prefixes, suffixes, parts of speech, using the words in context, root words, and all those kinds of things that kids actually need to know instead of just a definition they don't understand anyway.
