An excellent walk through science

This is a wonderfully written book covers 100 of the greatest science discoveries. Needless to say, the top 100 of anything is always problematic, but the author has chosen a solid list. He also includes a list of the next 150, which I am hoping he publishes one day. He is able to keep every story intresting, lively and usually includes an odd fact or two that simply makes the story come alive. I would highly recommend this to anyone interested in the sciences - including young adults as it makes learning about science less like schooling and more like a great story..
