. . . To Be A Horseman is in the form of an autobiography. It is primarily made up of selected memoir and transitional segments, some few fictional, designed to assist ease of access and to advance the overall continuity. It is a little history spanning eight decades. It is an adventure story, and finally speaks sub-textually of a particular life philosophy derived from the experience of living simultaneously in two very disparate, often diametrically opposed worlds. The pictorial additions are only occasionally illustrative, but offered more critically as food for the individual imagination surrounding the text.
