Former attorney and college professor Joan Johnston is the author of nearly fifty bestselling romance novels. Johnston has also worked as a newspaper editor and drama critic and a theatre director. She has a B.A. in theatre arts from Jacksonville University (Florida), an M.A. in theatre from the University of Illinois in Urbana, and a J.D. with honors from the University of Texas at Austin School of Law. Born in 1948 in Little Rock, Arkansas, she now divides her time between Colorado and South Florida.
