Brock Thoene, a graduate of California State University with an M.A. in education, has been an active Christian since childhood. Described by his wife and co-author Bodie Thoene as "an essential half of the writing team," Thoene contributes historical research and storyline consultation to the books. Together the Thoenes have authored over sixty-five Christian historical novels, with thirty-five million copies in print. Eight of their popular collaborations have won Gold Medallion Awards, now known as ECPA Christian Book Awards. The Thoenes live in London, Hawaii, California, and Nevada.
